Madayaw, I'm Mico Lasola. I was born and raised in Davao City, Philippines, and I've always had a knack for problem-solving. As a kid, I used to dream of becoming a pilot, but life had a different plan for me. Instead, I found my passion in technology, where I discovered I could build things that make people's lives easier. I'm a self-taught developer with no college degree, and I've been working as a Full Stack Web and Mobile Developer for 8 months now at an IT company. My journey from a curious kid to a tech professional shows that passion and dedication can take you far, even without a traditional education.
When I'm not coding, you'll probably find me playing guitar, bass, or drums — music has always been a big part of my life. I also love gaming and cheering for basketball games, whether it's local or international. These hobbies keep me balanced and remind me of the fun side of life. I'm always learning new things, whether it's the latest tech trends or mastering a new song on my guitar. My goal is to one day become a CEO, and I believe that starting with the skills I've developed as a developer will help me get there. I'm driven, curious, and always looking for ways to grow — both personally and professionally.

Web Scraping
I built this web scraping tool for Inoasis Tech to automate lead generation, pulling job listings and company data from various online sources. It uses Cheerio for parsing and includes interactive dashboards with Recharts and Leaflet maps to visualize the scraped data. The goal was to save our team hours of manual research by delivering clean, structured information ready for outreach.
Food Truck Website
I built this responsive website for a local food truck business to help them establish their online presence and attract more customers. It features their full menu with pricing, a location schedule so people know where to find them, and integrated contact forms for catering inquiries. The site is easy for the owners to update themselves and is designed to look great on both phones and desktops.
Booking Website & Mobile App
This is a booking platform I helped build at Inoasis Tech for managing appointments and services. It includes a web dashboard for administrators and a companion mobile app for customers, letting them book, reschedule, and pay for services seamlessly. We integrated SMS confirmations via Twilio and multiple payment gateways like Stripe and Razorpay to handle transactions smoothly. The system keeps everything synchronized in real-time between the Laravel/Vue.js backend and the Flutter mobile app.
Local Band Finder
This is a mobile app I built to help people discover local bands and musicians in their area. It pulls in live event data and artist profiles, letting users search by genre, location, and upcoming gigs. I handled the whole thing myself, from the Flutter frontend to setting up the Firebase backend for data management.
Business App
This app helps small businesses manage their daily operations, from tracking inventory and customer orders to handling employee schedules. I worked on both the web dashboard built with Next.js and TypeScript and the companion mobile app using React Native. The backend uses PostgreSQL with Prisma for reliable data handling, and we set up a GraphQL API to connect everything smoothly. It was a team effort at Inoasis Tech to create a practical, all-in-one tool for business owners.
Student Registration System
This was a university project where I built a desktop application to manage student enrollments and course data. I focused on creating a clean, intuitive interface with JavaFX and connected it to a MySQL database for persistent record-keeping. My role involved frontend development, debugging, and thorough testing to ensure the system was reliable for administrative use.
